The News Literacy Project

Register for Our Upcoming Virtual Visit:

“On December 17, 2015, the News Literacy Project is offering a no-cost virtual news literacy lesson for teachers and students across the country with NLP journalist fellow Natalie Moore, South Side reporter for WBEZ Chicago. The session will run from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. EST and focus on the role of the press and other news literacy lessons in the events surrounding the police shooting of Laquan McDonald in Chicago in October of 2014.

This is the first time NLP is making one of its news literacy video conference lessons available to teachers and students outside of its program partners. You can see examples of past NLP Virtual Visits here.
